Every year Valerie is delighted to donate an original painting or drawing to the Vale Wildlife Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre to help raise funds for their amazing work. Founded in 1984 it became a charitable trust in 1994 for the purpose of treating injured wildlife and releasing it back into its natural habitat once fit. Valerie has been involved with the Vale Wildlife since its very early days before it became a charity and these are some of artworks Valerie has donated in recent years. The painting below was auctioned in 1991 and the running costs are now rather higher! Jake was hand reared and left with Caroline at the Vale Wildlife where he lived until he was 18. www.valewildlife.org.uk
